BEAR CREEK | Game Two wasn't a shutout. But it was much the same as Monday's series opener, as the Indians rolled to a 17-2 win over Sunbright in five innings to complete the series sweep in District 4-A play.
Oneida limited Sunbright to two runs, and immediately took charge of the game. After spotting the Tigers a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, the Indians put five runs on the board in the bottom half, and never looked back.
Aiden Frazier had the big bat in Game Two, after Caden Rector and Colby Tyra carried the load in the first game. Frazier drove in four runs and scored three more in Tuesday's game.
Todd Derek Ryon and Colten Daugherty both connected for triples. Daugherty also had a double.
No player other than Frazier had multiple RBIs, but also driving in runs were Daugherty, Gabe Brennan, Rector, Landon Boutwell, Eli Rector, Tyra, Gavin Hailey and Ben Sexton.
Ryon got credited with the win, striking out seven batters and giving up only two hits in three innings of work. Brennan closed things out, allowing no hits and striking out three across the final two innings of the game.
